New books and used, a real children's corner, coffee and pastry, and a room to gather — a warm neighborhood bookstore rooted in this particular town. We haven't opened yet. We're building it with Everett, and we'd love you with us from the first page.
Join the founding readersWhat we're building
A warm, independent bookstore in the heart of downtown Everett. New books and carefully chosen used ones. A children's section deep enough that a kid finds their book, not just a book. Coffee and pastry to slow the morning down. And a calendar that gives the week a shape — story times, book clubs, readings, and the ordinary good business of running into your neighbors. A place that reads like Everett: local history and local authors on the shelves, the regulars known by name, the lights on at the corner.
Why now, and why we're asking first
Downtown Everett has been asking for a bookstore — when the Downtown Everett Association surveyed what people most wanted downtown, a bookstore came out on top. We think they're right. But we'd rather build it with you than surprise you, so we're starting here: with a list, and a question. Tell us what you'd want on the shelves. If enough of Everett says yes, that's how a bookstore becomes real.
Add your email for occasional launch notes — and tell us what you want on the shelves. Everyone who joins now becomes a founding reader.
